I am an Honors senior undergraduate currently working on my undergraduate thesis over the "molly" community in eighteenth century London. I examine the emotional geographies and "atmospheres" of eighteenth century London that were directed towards the mollies. First I look at their phenomenological trajectories through London's space, examining emotive "atmospheres" of the mollies and society, as well as looking at the agent of print culture which I argue helped shape, influence, and indirectly build these "atmospheres" through diction and text in court cases, street ballads, and cartography.
