I am a PhD student in English at the University of Arkansas, where I am frantically completing my dissertation, Performing Literacy: How Women Read the World in the Late Eighteenth-Century British Novel. I'm interested in the intersection between social identity and literacy; conveniently, I can also study this issue by posting on Facebook. This spring, I'm teaching a freshman comp course on the Twilight series, the Gothic novel, and online writing.
